Greg Hatala I go for a walk. There are various settings that somehow inspire words to flow through my head and form into what I'd like to say. With characters and dialogue, sometimes I just imagine them in a new and different setting ... and then just allow them to converse.

Greg Hatala There's a classic 'Catch-22' in the answer to that. On the one hand, I'd travel back in time to my youth . But I also know that I would almost certainly make the same mistakes again because in the fictional world, the time-traveler influences the past ... but I think we all know that we wouldn't have listened to anyone 'back then' because that was the whole reason we made many of the mistakes we did - we KNEW, no one else did.
