I have to be honest - I don't get writer's block. I sit down and apparently I have a lot to say because I get 3,000 words rather quickly. If I don't have anything to say (which is rare), I give myself time away from writing to meditate, get outside, watch TV...whatever I want. When writing starts to feel like a job, it's time to give yourself a break. I also ask myself, "What is it about what I'm writing that my mind is blocking? Is it trying to protect me? Why?" And then write about that! Just write.

Writing! Being able to express myself through art is wonderful.

Don't get stuck in the grammar or structure. That will all come later. Just sit down and write (or dictate) and pretty soon you'll have the beginning of something wonderful. It doesn't have to be perfect and polished for quite a while so focus on the story - not on the details.

Besides marketing my two books! I'm about to start working on my new book that focuses on travel. I've visited over 100 countries and lived overseas for several years. I'm looking forward to the next book because it's all about having fun and seeing the world.

Writing is a release for me. I sit down every day and just let the words fill the page. I don't worry about what it's for, how I will use it, etc. - I just write.

My memoir was long in the making. I started writing it about 6 years ago after a medical procedure went terribly wrong. I really started to focus on it in early 2022 and finished writing it in October 2022.
