Jim Mastro Working for myself, being creative, inventing people and places and worlds, playing with words. I'm sure I will think of more things later!
Jim Mastro I don't get writer's block.
Jim Mastro Write! Read! And then write more! If you want to be a published writer, make it a priority to write all the time. I've read that it takes 10,000 hours of doing something to get really good at it, and I'm quite certain that is true for writing.
Jim Mastro I'm working on four projects: A biography of an amazing scientist, a middle-grade fantasy novel, a stage play, and a science fiction short story.
Jim Mastro The stories, and the urge to write them, just seem to bubble up from deep inside. When I'm writing, I feel as though I am doing what I am supposed to do, what I was born to do. When I'm not writing, I feel unfulfilled.
Jim Mastro That's easy! My most recent book was the third in a trilogy, so the idea for it was an extension of the first two.
