Write! Read! And then write more! If you want to be a published writer, make it a priority to write all the time. I've read that it takes 10,000 hours of doing something to get really good at it, and I'm quite certain that is true for writing.

I'm working on four projects: A biography of an amazing scientist, a middle-grade fantasy novel, a stage play, and a science fiction short story.

The stories, and the urge to write them, just seem to bubble up from deep inside. When I'm writing, I feel as though I am doing what I am supposed to do, what I was born to do. When I'm not writing, I feel unfulfilled.

That's easy! My most recent book was the third in a trilogy, so the idea for it was an extension of the first two.
