Edward P. Moser Start writing every day about what you're familiar with. Based on the actual world, not just what's in your head.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Edward P. Moser I never get it. I'm always researching and writing. After a while, the writing just flows.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Edward P. Moser MacBeth and his Lady. Not admirable, but terrific drama.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Edward P. Moser I noticed that most second-term Presidents have considerable trouble near the end of their time in office. Iran-Contra for Reagan, Monica Lewinsky for Bill Clinton, etc. Did research to see if this was true of most two-term Chief Executives. It turned out to be true, for George Washington on up.
