I'm always writing on multiple things at once. When I really get stuck on my current WIP, I play around with something different for a bit.
I also read a few romance novels. It feels like a reset for my brain to engage with other people's creativity. I also don't panic; I let a day or two or three pass if that's what needs to happen and let the ideas percolate in the back of my mind. Thinking is a huge part of the writing process.
Soon, I feel refreshed and ready to write again.

I fell in love with Bridgerton during peak pandemic. I watched the show, then read the books, and I remembered all the reasons I loved romances and romance novels so much. I said, "that's what I want to do," so I sat down and got to writing. Managing Miss Watson came out of that!
