OK Frank, I looked up the Shiva Trident for the tongue and what exactly did crazy Natalie have done? They show a long thin post several inches long with the symbol on the top, but I don't think you could ever shut your mouth, right? or did she have a small piercing of the Trident in the middle of her tongue? Inquiring minds need to know these things, Frank. :) Thanks Joann
Frank Kusy Okay Joann, it was 30 years ago but I'll give it my best shot. It was a 'piercing' thing, short and stubby (yellow, copper?) with 3 prongs facing up from the tongue and a round 'holding' disc under the tongue to keep it in place. Natalie showed it me and said 'If I ever meet a man who geths on my nervth by talking too much, I'll drug him in his thleep and th'ick to him. That'll th'up him up!'

Thanks for asking that question, btw, Joann, I may have to edit the book to make that point (if you pardon the pun) clearer :)

Why do you think Indian spirituality became especially trendy with westerners at some point?
Frank Kusy Thanks for your question, Travelin. I guess it has a lot to do with the Beatles in the 60s, that's when the hippies and freaks discovered the beaches in Goa, the ashrams in Rishikesh and Pondicherry, and of course the holy ganga which grew plentiful in Manali ☺

Hi Frank, I'm reading your new book and loving it. I was talking to my one grandson and he is still in college but would like to go to Europe (budget trip) and I was telling him how much I loved your books. Which is the first one one in the series or don't they go that way? I'd like to buy him at least one - the funny ones and where you have to stay in hostels - with the roaches. Thanks Joann
Frank Kusy Hi Joann, thanks for getting in touch. I'd recommend my 'Kevin and I in India', that one has more roaches than you can shake a stick at. It was the first in the series but is now the second. But no matter, all my books are pretty much stand alone. Hope your grandson has a great trip, any more questions, just ask ☺ ~ Frank
