Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Kevin Coolidge My latest book, "The Totally Ninja Raccoons and the Secret of Nessmuk Lake,"will be published May 1st, 2017. I got the idea from the word Nessmuk. It reminds me of Nessie, and what better to have than the Loch Ness Monster's in Lake Nessmuk?

Kevin Coolidge It was very nice of you to call. I thought I had caught that typo, but I missed it on the re-read. If I sell enough books, I'll have to go in and fix it. I am glad you enjoyed it, and I hope your neighbor's children do too. I have a lot of fun writing the series, but having other people enjoy them completes that enjoyment.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Kevin Coolidge The best advice I ever received from a writer is to finish something. You can't revise something that doesn't exist, and you aren't committed to a rough draft. Get it down on paper, or on your word document and revise from there.
