I play a lot of games on my computer, and that "resets" my brain. I usually play ones that are process-driven rather than plot-driven (RimWorld is my current fave) so I can tune out and let go of some of the stress I've built up.

Write what you want to read. Yes, you can write what's popular up to a point, but if you wouldn't read it, it's not worth feeling miserable while writing it. Writing should be painful, and frustrating, but ultimately joyful.
