If you want to write, then write. It is between you, your mind, and the pen in your hand with the paper beneath it. The only thing getting in the way of your writing is you because it you want it bad enough than you will find the time to write. If you think your story is good enough than it is. Do not worry about the ifs just worry about you and writing what you want to write as you are your best asset and the most determining factor of your success. Write it!

I am currently working on a book about werewolves that are betrothed for the sake of their packs, the royal packs might I add. Willow is from the Glisten Royal pack and she is about to learn the one thing that her pack had determined when she was born. Willow is betrothed to Brayden of the Luster Royal pack and he is finding out the same thing on the same date and time exactly the same as Willow. Their love grows strong. A warning comes from an unsuspected character. Fate is entangled. But what will happen? Only Willow knows because it depends on her.

It is more of a when. I sometimes just have an idea, or a thought come to me that I think is worthy of writing about, so if the thought is worthy or starts getting my mind whirring it inspires me to write about it. Other times I could just be writing, and the ideas keep flowing out of my brain and into words and onto the page. It just depends on the day and what has been going on.

My most recent book I had the idea of putting my poems together so it could form a poetry book. I love writing poetry to help get my emotions and crowded headspace out of my mind and onto paper where I can sort them and process them better. This poetry book was actually finished in 2018. I started writing it on Wattpad first. I have been very busy with my life with everything, so this year I decided to put my words out there in a poetry book of mine called 'In Between The Lines' that I self-published with Barnes and Noble on 12/21/2023. I am currently working on other W.I.P.'s of mine on Wattpad that I started a long while ago. Right now, I am focusing on Betrothed the most. You can find my work on Wattpad at Maggie-Schmidt. It has always been my dream as a little girl who enjoyed, more like loved more than anything, to write to become a published author! I am a published author now which makes my younger self proud. I am working toward achieving more within this dream, so I do not plan on stopping my writing anytime soon. I am hoping for it to grow as I figure out what is next.
