I get an idea for two characters first as I did with THE FIREBRAND—Braelyn and Rein. Then, I ask myself what would happen if they met.

Just write. Do not allow your insecurities to get in your way. You have to fight those niggling voices in your head that tell you, "This is no good." You can always make it better. And find a writing critique group where you can share, share, share.

I just keep writing—even if it's bad. I may switch to a scene which appeals to me or round out my character descriptions.

I like to write at about the same time each day—9:30-1–and in the same place—a leather chair in my office which faces a window. Not very inspirational, but I can get down to business. If I write the rest of the day, I usually edit.

I just contracted the fifth, and last, book in my Blood Coven Series. Immediately, I began a three-book series. It is a paranormal romance series also. Hint: the characters have wings.
