My most recent book Less Clutter More Life came out of over 35 years of helping individuals and organizations manage their time, space, and information. For 20 years, I focused on paper and physical clutter. With the advance of the internet, I applied the principles to digital, but in the past few years, I've come to realize that the true clutter that prevents people from accomplishing their work and enjoying their lives is physical and spiritual. Writing this book was on my "bucket list" -- I feel it is the reason God put me on this earth. It is the beginning of a book series.

No one technique works all time time. It helps me to get out of my environment -- some of my best writing is done on airplanes and in hotel rooms! Another technique to write a list of the reasons it is important to finish whatever I am writing.

If you want to have less stress in your life, continually ask the question, "Does this (item, idea) help me accomplish my work or enjoy my life?" If the answer is "No," it's clutter!
