Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kristi Strong The yearning for more from life. As I worked on it, lots of life stories, fantasies, daydreams, and nightmares intertwined to make Balloon Days what it is today.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kristi Strong I go out and live more life to fill my writer’s bucket with new experiences to learn and pull from. Also, just writing anything at all helps as a launching point. I remind myself all first drafts (even the second) are terribly crappy, but it’s important to have the blob of clay to mold into something spectacular.
