Write for you. Embrace your universe. When it's time to release it, know that some will love it, some will hate it and some will never find it. It took me a long time to get that through my head. It doesn't hurt to write it and release it no matter what anyone says about it, as much as it hurts to never know if you could have.

The scene kind of plays out in my head and then I try and write what I saw and let my mind take over with the 'what if' game. If I don't like the outcome I'll either save it to use somewhere or scrap it but then I replay the scene and do another 'what if'. Everything in my writing is 'what if something wasn't that way.'

Anything from my favorite authors. I wait forever sometimes because my reading list is actually an audiobook list. When you have as much going on around you as I do and when you have to stay in motion a pair of earbuds and an audiobook is key to survival. I'll be looking for new releases from Tana Stone, ( I have almost all of hers) Presley Hall (same almost all), Laurann Dohner (so much love) R.L Mathewson (I am in love with Neighbors from Hell)

Honestly when my creativity is blocked I look to see if I'm focused on too many negative things. Life throws things, bills, family problems, flat tires, hours cut at work and if I are dwell on them even in the back of my mind, nothing creative happens. I go to YouTube for some ASMR or audible to listen to a favorite author take me out of my troubled reality. After that I can get back to building my own universe.

I absolutely love sci-fi, romance & paranormal romance. My brain just wanted a little twist. Some things should be enjoyed on multiple levels and that's when I decided to see how many ideas could be thrown into one series. We shall see.
