Sherry Lucille I don't get enough time to write. When I find the time, I usually have something to say. But every now and then, I am blocked. When that happens, I go to a coffee shop, pull up a project and see what I've done. I might just do some edits or add some context: place, sights, sounds etc... Usually before I leave I've added at least one new scene.
Sherry Lucille The expression. You get to create worlds of expression. And you kind of live through your characters for a little while.
Sherry Lucille Just start. Sit down, take out your notebook or electronic devise and start writing out your story. I usually create a scene by starting with a conversation the characters are having.
Sherry Lucille I am currently working on Love Promises, the last in the trilogy. I've also started Love Falling, that's a tentative title for the book about Jame's brother: my first non-interracial love story. And a children's book series has been formulating in my mind. I'm a multi-project kind of a girl.
Sherry Lucille I read all but one of Jane Austen's books. Then I started reading Romance novels, because Jane was gone and wasn't going to write anymore. I found many too explicit and some too tame; one day I thought...I can write one of these. Soon after, I wrote Love Changes.

Thanks for asking.
Sherry Lucille I wanted to publish a book that dealt with everyday common sense.
