The idea for my 2017 two-book romantic suspense series, MARIAH and SHANE, originated from some TV scripts I wrote, featuring quirky characters and comedic situations in a small mountain town in Colorado, where I live.
My first book, BEAUTY AND THE BEASTMASTER, is a spin-off of a famous fairytale. But the roots were with the pro-wrestlers of the '90's: Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) who were like my hero, Bram Masterson.

Q: What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book? I recently got on the bad side of my HOA Board regarding my dog. The mystery is, why they keep coming after me. It's been two years since they started complaining and though I've won every round, including after they enlisted the help of an outside management group, it's clear they think they are in the right. Every good book has to have a conflict but sometimes those in real life are stranger than fiction.
