At the moment, the publisher isn't planning to continue the series, unless the sales numbers improve, alas. Everyone seems to like the books, it is just a numbers game. (So tell all your friends.)
I think I mentioned in the acknowledgments that all of my cats come from rescues. Three of them come from one specific local independent rescue organization called the Super Heroes. I did some volunteer work for them back before the pandemic, which is what gave me the idea to base a series on a struggling shelter.
