I received the Catskills Pet Rescue books for Christmas. They are great. Do you have book 4 in the works?

Deborah Blake Hi Laurel, I'm so glad you liked them! Unfortunately, the publisher canceled the series, so as of now, there won't be any more (although I did have an idea for the next one). You could try writing them and asking! Or check out my other books, which you might like even if they're not cozies. (And if you could take a minute to leave quick reviews for them, that would be really wonderful.) Deborah

I enjoy your Catskills Rescue and have read all of them. Are you going to continue this series? I really like the main character because you give her alot of grit and also the humor and the different characters are really a good choice. Do you have any experience with rescue places?

Deborah Blake At the moment, the publisher isn't planning to continue the series, unless the sales numbers improve, alas. Everyone seems to like the books, it is just a numbers game. (So tell all your friends.)
I think I mentioned in the acknowledgments that all of my cats come from rescues. Three of them come from one specific local independent rescue organization called the Super Heroes. I did some volunteer work for them back before the pandemic, which is what gave me the idea to base a series on a struggling shelter.
