Peter Rogers Sometimes writing an outline helps to organize the thoughts and then the words flow.

I write best between 5 am - 1 pm. After 1 pm, I usually go do something else.

I like fun, clever authors like Oscar Wilde. Sometimes I'll read him or something similar and the next day my own writing becomes more fun.
Peter Rogers I wanted to help people. It is pleasant to help others because reward neurotransmitters are released in our brains when we help others. I like the writing of Oscar Wilde. Professor James Heffernan says, "The Importance of Being Ernest" is about the importance of being playful.

Rhetoric should be taught more in high school and college. This will make you a better writer. I liked listening to the Farnsworth CD while looking at the book.

I liked the Brooks Langdon course on sentences especially the focus on cumulative syntax. The advice to read your writing out loud was also helpful.
