After taking stock of my own experience of being self-employed and interviewing hundreds of successful entrepreneurs, I came to the conclusion that the really successful entrepreneurs are very well prepared to take this step. That led me into my third book about self-employment "Pre-Flight Check List: Is Self-Employment for You?". Before departure, a pilot goes through a pre-flight checklist. This procedure assures the safest possible flight. It works. Air travel is the safest form of transportation. I developed a similar checklist or quiz questions for those curious or serious about joining the ranks of the self-employed.
