How do you deal with writer’s block?

Hilary Holladay Writer's block is sort of like what happens when you're trying to parallel park and you can't get the car to fit in the space, no matter what you do and no matter how big the space is. I recommend moving on and finding a new entry point. Doing more research can help; so can a brisk walk that clears the head.

I so much loved the way the characters come together during the wonderful 4th of July Party at Red Oak Farm--such a variety of ways to love--but are you already at work on a sequel to this novel?

Hilary Holladay I've considered writing a sequel to Tipton! For now, I'm working on short stories as well as non-fiction.
