Lisa Treasure At the moment, I'm writing a non-fiction book about health and well-being. I'm a hypnotherapist so I have been inspired by all my clients over the years as well as by my own journey to find happiness.

I get inspired to write children's books from all sorts of places: other stories, poems, children I know, and memories from being a primary school teacher.

Lisa Treasure I usually need a change of scenery when I get writer's block, so I will go to the garden or for a walk and clear my head for a while. Sometimes you can get bogged down with your writing and stop seeing the bigger picture.
Lisa Treasure Seeing young children enjoying and getting involved with the story. They really get invested in the characters and the message.
Lisa Treasure I am currently working on another children's book called Plop.
Lisa Treasure I get all my ideas in bed as I am drifting off to sleep. The idea for The Drabidull came from the many young people I saw as a therapist who were struggling with self-esteem and self-confidence.
