I'm currently working on a Tudor era murder mystery - it's set in 1513 when Catherine of Aragon is Regent of England while Henry VIII is fighting in France. It was a dangerous time for the Queen as she was with child and had to prepare to defend the nation as Scotland was preparing to invade while forces were divided. It was such fun to research, I read letters to and from Catherine, Wolsey, Thomas Howard and many others to get a feel for the era and the people.
