How do you get inspired to write?
J.B. Curry I hear an anecdote or see a character that catches my fancy, and the story grows from that seed in my mind until I have no choice but to write it down.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
J.B. Curry I got the idea for my book Bad Keys and the other soon-to-be-written books in the Pianos Wild series from my husband, a real-life piano tuner. He comes home with the most bizarre piano related stories you can possibly imagine, proving once again that truth is stranger than fiction.

What are you currently working on?
J.B. Curry Right now I'm working on a paranormal romance set in 1933, in which a detective and a femme fatale battle gangsters, mad scientists, and a monster that's trying to eat Chicago.
