Jordan Summers Hi Wendy, I do not believe that I have any virgin heroes--at least that I can recall. Sorry. Most of the heroes in my books are men/aliens/shapeshifters/vampires that are trying to find their one and only. Thanks for the question. :) Best, Jordan
Jordan Summers He dreamed of swimming in oceans and being attacked by sharks. He woke up when the Great White’s tooth pierced his heart.
Jordan Summers It would be in the TARDIS with Doctor Who, so I could travel throughout the universe. I wouldn't care which planet he picked and long as we could go there.
Jordan Summers I'm looking forward to some upcoming Rebecca Zanetti releases. I also want to catch up on Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series (I'm so far behind.) and Cynthia Eden's Bad Things novels. But to be honest, my TBR pile is so large that I'll be happy to make any kind of dent into it this summer.
Jordan Summers Besides my family history, the thing that most stands out is when I worked in a nursing home. A dear woman, who I cared for, passed away. The other attendants told me that strange things always happened when someone was about to die or had just died in the home. I thought they were teasing/hazing me because I was new to that facility. But right after she died, lights were flickering on and off, temperatures were changing, strange 'fogs' were seen in rooms, and the furniture was rearranged in one of the patient's rooms. It scared me so bad that I quit my job. LOL! But it would make for a good plot.
Jordan Summers My favorite fictional couple is probably Ilona Andrew's Curran and Kate. I love how they're so equally strong and yet equally flawed. They make each other better people and I am pulling for them. I actually love several of the secondary couples in that series, too. I'm also a big fan of Bones and Cat from Jeaniene Frost's Grave series, D.B. Reynolds' Cyn and Raphael from the Vampires in America series, and Suzanne Wright's Dark in You couple, Harper and Knox.
Jordan Summers I don't know. Maybe someone should bring that up with Goodreads. Great question, Jordan. ;)
Jordan Summers The best way I've found to deal with writer's block is to grab a pen and a pad of paper. For some reason, writing long-hand breaks any block I might be experiencing.
Jordan Summers Being able to live in various worlds, while existing in reality.
Jordan Summers My best advice for aspiring writers is do not fall into the trap of believing that self-publishing is easy. Being able to upload without effort does not mean you've written a good book. The writing ALWAYS comes first.
Jordan Summers I'm currently working on several projects at once. I need to get a few stories outlined so I can write them next year. These projects include an urban fantasy detective story, two young adult books, and a Phantom Warriors' story.
Jordan Summers My inspiration comes from a lot of sources. Sometimes it's the movies (This normally only occurs when I disagree with a film ending.). I get a lot of ideas from science articles. I find science fascinating. But more than anything, I'll have a scene pop into my head and I'll have to figure out what's going on and who the people are inside the scene.
Jordan Summers I couldn't stop thinking about the werewolf who showed up at the end of Moonlight Kin 2: Aidan's Mate. I didn't know much about him other than he had an icy exterior. I just knew I wanted to explore Tristan more. (pardon the pun;)
