The idea for Simoni's Gift came from my desire to clarify my thoughts on the purpose of my life. I have thought about it many times over the years and have read a great deal about various philosophies on life's meaning. My beliefs have evolved over time based on what I have learned and personally experienced. I like books that are both thought-provoking and entertaining (like Illusions and The Alchemist), so I decided to create a story illustrating my philosophy rather than just write a typical self-help book.
