Hi Harley. FYI, I'm venturing away from GR so if you have additional questions, please ask via my website (marieharte.com). HOWEVER, I'm here right now. :) And I love Theo!
I have no concrete plans to give Theo his HEA yet, as he's so much younger than many other characters needing to find love (Iris, Smoke, Grim, Elliot...) I don't have contracts for anyone else yet, but I DO plan on writing Elliot's story at some point, as well as one for Smoke, at least.
As far as another connected series, read The Works ( http://bit.ly/2sSFSsj ) . That series is tied into The Donnigans, since the gym where Gavin works is the same gym my other characters (Mac, Shane) own and attend. :) That's a three book series, and the last two books are a little spicier than Bodywork, the first book. Just so you know.
Thanks for your question! :)

Hi Christine. Great question! And yes! Brad and his firefighter buddies will have their stories told in my new series with Sourcebooks coming January 2021. :) It's a bit away, but it's a fun 4 book series with stories for Brad, Tex, Reggie, and Mack. With some cameos by other characters you've met. So glad you liked the Veteran Movers series, and others!
Happy holidays!

Hi Rebecca. So glad you liked A FAMILIAR FACE! I wrote that one a long time ago. I never say never, but Core and Mallory had their story wrapped up, and I have no plans to continue them at present. But thanks for the email!

Hi Bridgid.
Smith's story has been with the publisher since the beginning of the year. So yea! But as to when the book will release, I have no idea. I encourage readers to email Sourcebooks telling them they want it now! LOL So please do! (It's such a great ending for Smith and the guys too!) https://www.sourcebooks.com/contact-u...

Hi Renee.
I just sent this to another reader today! And I do plan to get a reading order list on my website. Great question!
Here's the chronological order for the books, if you want to read them when they happened during a multi-series timeline. But you should still be able to read them out of order and not be confused.
McCauleys series books 1-4
Body Shop Bad Boys (BSBB) Test Drive, Roadside Assistance
Donnigans A Sure Thing
BSBB Zero to Sixty
Donnigans Just the Thing
All I Want for Halloween (Sadie is the cousin of the heroine from A Sure Thing)
BSBB Collision Course
Donnigans The Only Thing
The Kissing Game (coming Feb 2020; Rena is the cousin of the heroine from McCauleys #4 and the hero of The Only Thing, and Heller has been mentioned in several BSBB books)

Hi Courtney. YES! I turned in Heller and Rena's story to my editor. The book is due to come out in time for Valentine's Day 2020. :)

Hi Cheryl. I had hoped to write about Deacon and Nora this past holiday but got bogged down in other work. With any luck they'll have their HEA this December! (but don't quote me on that...) Thanks!

Hi Amy.
Man, I fell in love with Blackstone Bikes and the guys! Smoke, Chains, Thor, Iris... I would love to write for them, but I'm currently contracted for a different series. I still intend to write Elliot's romance some day. But heck, I've waited YEARS for the green light to write about Rena and Heller (introduced in my McCauley Brothers and Body Shop Bad Boys series), and I finally get to! Their book comes out in time for Valentine's Day 2020. But I highly encourage readers to tell my publisher what you want to read. :)

Hey Annette.
So glad you liked the boys of Webster's Garage! To answer your questions...
--Yes, JT's story came out this past May in THE ONLY THING (book 3 of the Donnigans series. The Donnigas are cousins to the McCauleys, which was my first series with Sourcebooks.)
--Yes, Heller is FINALLY getting his story told. And Rena too! Their romance should arrive in January 2020, a Valentine's themed novel.
--The Cortez sisters, and other side characters who won't leave my mind, will get their stories in novellas. I'm currently working on Stella for a holiday short next month.
Thanks for the question, and happy reading!

Hi Raven.
At this time, Westlake Enterprises is done. Back when I wrote the series for Samhain, I had in mind three more books at least for Luc, Thorne, and Cole. But I've been pulled in another direction with my contemporary and indie work. I never say never, but it's not currently on the agenda.
Thanks!

Hey Gina. Sorry for the delay. I'm not always on Goodreads. I've been moving things around, and it now looks like Rena's story will be out Feb 2019. But don't quote me on that. (My website and newsletter keep everyone up to date.) Thanks! I can't wait to write Rena's HEA. She's one of my favorite characters.
Marie Harte
Hi Elena. Yes, there is going to be a book for Heller and Rena. I have loved Rena since the first time she appeared. She's sweet and funny and loves romance books. How can she NOT have her own story? I'm hoping to write it this year, not sure on release date... Make sure to check on my website for updates or via my newsletter. marieharte.com :)

OMG, Cintia, this question resonates on so many levels, and it applies to all writers, not just aspiring ones! The biggest thing in this business is to have a firm center. Not to be all hippy-dippy, but if you don't believe in yourself, nothing is going to work for you. There will ALWAYS be someone rejecting your work, either as an editor or reader, simply because reading tastes are subjective. I've read bestsellers I've really disliked, yet tons of other people liked it. And I've read work I loved that doesn't have a large readership and should.
Yes, it's discouraging to see something you've worked so hard on not get the appreciation you feel it deserves (trust me, we ALL feel this!). But you can only write the best book you can. You can't control how others perceive it.
My two cents to help you deal with discouragement is to tune out social media. Don't watch other writers's successes and/or failures. Just concentrate on your own work. Seeing what other people do can make you batty. Reading reviews can make you nuts. But when you delve deep into your story and shut everything else out, that's when the magic happens. And that's when you find love for writing again.
I know this because after 100+ books, I still have to tune out other stuff so I can concentrate on my own work. It's too easy to get down due to bad reviews, rejections, or seeing other work succeed that seems to me poorly written or thought out (and again, this is my opinion). In this industry, no matter how much success you can earn, you're only as good as your last book, and rejections and poor sales can come at any time due to outside influences you have no control over.
So after that long winded answer, know you're not alone in feeling down sometimes. You just have to shake it off, ignore everything else, and focus on YOU. And let the words come.
:) Happy New Year, Cintia. Now go write!

Hi, Lena. YES, I am planning on writing Rena's happily ever after. And Heller is just the man to get her there. :) Not sure on the timeline, but I can say for certain I'm writing this. As soon as I introduced Rena as a character, I knew I had to write her story. And I'm in LOVE with Heller. :)

Hi Heather.
The Westlake series is with Amazon's Kindle Unlimited through the end of December. So look for Westlake Enterprises to hit other distributors in January 2018.
As far as the Triggerman Inc. series, I've been talking with a publisher about re-releasing book 1 and taking on the rest of the trilogy. But it's taking a little longer than I'd thought getting an answer (holidays have slowed things, as has my inability to focus lately! LOL). Hope to have better news for you in the coming weeks and after the holiday. It's a great series and I'd like to see it concluded.
Check out my website and newsletter for updates. I keep those up to speed. (marieharte.com)
Thanks, Heather!

Hi Heather. I would love to write about Iris and Smoke, but ALL I WANT FOR HALLOWEEN was written as a standalone book. Perhaps if sales are favorable, I'll be able to write them a book for the publisher. Otherwise they'll stay on the backburner of folks I'd LIKE to write about at some point in the future. And note, I have a lot of those! But as of yet, no plans to write about Iris and Smoke. (But I SO have stories for him and for Chains too...)
Marie Harte
Hey Piper. So glad you liked it!
Gear and Sadie are done, storywise, though that's not to say a small snippet of their future couldn't be in some newsletter I send out. :) I'd love to write about Smoke and Iris though. For sure I'm going to write Elliot his story, just not sure when...

Hey Denise.
The answer is YES. I plan to put a lot of my titles in print. But I have to find the time to format and put them up. So hopefully by the end of the year, which would dovetail nicely with the Circe's Recruits 2.0 series being done. All my Circs in print!

Hi Whitney. I hadn't thought to write Theo's story, because he's several years from finding his own HEA, in my opinion. But Rena's is already in the works. I hope to release it early next year. If you read Lou's story (COLLISION COURSE) coming out in Jan 2018, you'll see more of Rena and the man smitten with her. :)

Hi Heather. A bunch of my Samhain books (the publisher went under) are in limbo as I wait to see if I'll republish them myself or with another publisher. I'm still waiting to hear back from other publishers before making a decision. Books 1 and 2 in the series are done. I just need to write the third, and I will as soon as I know when it's coming out. I'm keeping my website updated, and I have a newsletter. So you can find out through either venue. :)
