Lori, I'm an avid reader, and whenever someone asks me to name my top ten, your novel The Girls is always there. It is just one of the most amazing books I've read in my life of 61 years. So, my question is the same as Lynette's about signing books. Would it be possible to either send you my copy of The Girls to sign, or if not, could you send a signed bookplate or the like?

I just finished Rush Home Road and have now added to my list of favorite books! I was so captivated and after reading I just wanted to give both Addy and Sharla a big hug. My question is.. do you sign books? I would love to ship this book to you (with return envelope of course) to have signed so I can display it on my shelf with all of my other favorite books. :)

I was wondering is this book based on a true story? I am asking because I remember watching a show about this girl and guy that got lost in the same area. They were rescued a few days later. I already have the book on my wish list and I'm using my credit to purchase the book on Audible.

The book isn't based on a true story but many hikers do get lost on Mount San Jacinto - the mountain that overlooks Palm Springs - and people have perished there. The terrain is beautiful but treacherous. I hope you enjoy the book!
