Hi Pritam,
My favourite author is Brandon Sanderson...not because of his books. (I love his books)
But because he truly understands, appreciates and serves his readers. He releases books every year, he makes sure that his readers are kept up to date with the progress of his work, he gives a lot of writing advice and helps many other authors as well.
I aspire to be just like him one day.

Develop a writing routine. It can be as simple as setting a fixed timeslot for writing daily and sticking to it. You will get better, the more you write. I promise you.

It's not inspiration, it's all about perspiration. I have a target of 500 words daily and I try to stick to it whether I am inspired or not.

When I was in school, I had a story idea about a young boy who was adppted by apes. He and his foster brother go on a quest through a mythical land called Jambudvipa to rescue their ape family which has been abducted by humans.
Over the years the idea kept growing and the story kept modifying itself. Until 2017, when I picked up the pen and began to write it down. And once you start writing a story, it begins to speak to you (hockey as that sounds).
And it ended up in it's current form as a story which has zero similarity to the original idea.
