Celina Summers Honestly? If that happens, I don't write. I don't try to force it. So I'll go back and re-read the book I'm working on from the beginning--not as a writer, but as a reader. There's always something that will strike a chord with me, and that sends me back to the keyboard. It's never failed me yet.
Celina Summers Going to work in my pajamas and a ponytail. Best job in the world. I may never wear heels again.
Celina Summers Find your own path. Doesn't matter what Stephen King does every day or what I do every day. You need to find what works best for you. Aside from that, try to get words down on paper daily. As with any skill, the more you practice it, the better you'll get.

Oh, and don't rely on grammar/spell check. Invest the time to properly revise and edit your work.
Celina Summers Right now I am completing the last Asphodel novel in The Black Dream series, which is titled Gods of Rebellion. I am also working on a new literary fantasy novel, which centers around the death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Celina Summers I treat writing as my job. I get up in the morning, and go to work--which is, fortunately, about two feet away from my bedroom. Once I sit down at my computer, I usually work 14-20 hours a day.
Celina Summers The book I'm working on now is the last book of the second Asphodel series. The concept of the Asphodel world is to take traditional fantasy characters and place them into the stories of Greco-Roman mythology. The Asphodel Cycle (first series) is a re-imagining of the Trojan War. The Black Dream (second series) is a re-imagining of the Titanomachy, which is a war between gods. So that's where the idea originated--in a Greek mythological work by Hesiod.
