I am currently in the process of publishing tow books, "Little Bit's Story" and "Night Clinic". I've been writing the third installment of my ITP series and articles about surgery for my blog and eventually to go into a third "Mystique of Surgery" bood.

I have goal for everything I write: make at least one person stop and think or smile or laugh. Anything else is icing on the cake.

My most recently published book I "Minotaur Revisited" which started as a retelling of the Greek Myth of the Minotaur, Theseus and the labyrinth. But, once the Minotaur escaped the Labyrinth I had to do something with him. I kept him alive through thousands of years of history which allowed the monster to shed light at some obscure, and some not so obscure, moments in history.

Ideas pop into my head at any and all times. My Muse, who is a devilish little imp, who shows up at very inconvenient times. I may be in the middle of surgery (which is my daytime job) when I get inspired. unfortunately I can;t stop to write anything down. I do my best to remember such moments of inspiration.

I've just finished a collection of short stories, "Night Clinic" which will be released in sometime in the next few months. Each story is set at an inner city medical clinic where the medical meets the unusual/magical/mystical/supernatural.
I will also be publishing "Little Bit's Story" which is about the dog, Little Bit, who appears in the two novels in my "ITP" series. "Little bit's Story" is told from the dog's point of view.
Finally, I have resumed working on "ITP book three, which will probably take about a year to finish.

Making readers smile.

start writing and find a good editor.

I usually will put something down just keep the narrative going, then I will go back later and edit/proofread/correct it. I usually will have formulated what I want to write in my head before I commit to the actual writing which means true writer's block has been a rare thing for me. And, because my writing is not my primary occupation I only seal with self imposed deadlines which are easily ignored.
