Oh my goodness! I don't know how I never saw my messages through Goodreads until now! I never meant to ignore you. I don't know that I can pick a favorite. There are things I like and flaws I see in all of my books, but the one that's meant the most to me so far is FAULTLINES.

Gah, Goodreads never sent me my questions, and I'm only just seeing this! You may not even be interested in the answer any longer, but just in case... I've been interested in vampires for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was severely asthmatic. The way they treated it back then, it was all stimulants and steroids in pill form, so they affected your whole body. They didn't go straight to the lungs. As a result, I didn't sleep much. Not more than 2 to 4 hours a night. My parents, however, went to bed early, which left me up watching any program I wanted without supervision. Well, when I was a kid largely what was on in the middle of the night were horror films. I pretty much scared myself to death as a kid on the old Christopher Lee vampire movies. I think that's where I got my start. (Even though my vampires are a lot more flippant and less terrifying.)
