As of October 2021, I'm working on edits for book 4 in the Hemlock Inn Mysteries series, which should be out by the new year!

If I'm stuck, I'll give myself a little space from the problem by doing something else - go for a walk with my dog, read a book, fold the laundry. Then, I'll take out a pen and notebook and write down the problem, then start brainstorming ways to solve it. That usually helps clear up my writers block - something about holding the pen and letting the words flow unlocks something for me.

Getting to take all the stories inside my head, put them down on the page, and then hearing from readers how those stories have impacted them - either made them laugh, made them cry, made them think a little. I love it all!

So many things inspire me to write, but reading a new book is always a good place to start. Thinking about the lives of the people I pass on the street, and the secrets they may be hiding, also inspires me. Plus, knowing that my words will be shared with the world and that readers will enjoy what I write - that inspires me a ton!
