James Lawless Watching footage of 9/11 for the adult book and breaking my ankle for the children's book forced me to think back to the character of Jo Jo, a little girl of eight whom I invented for my children when they were small.
James Lawless I have to be moved by something as in my latest novel I was so terribly moved by the 9/11 tragedy. That prompts me to research and the writing flows (hopefully) from that.
