That's so sweet! I've one that's almost finished, a Trigger Cullen, but it won't be very soon because 2022 was hell. Tom, my husband, had an emergency operation, and we had to renew our visa (saga!) and as a result of all the hassle, I haven't had the time or mind space. All my focus has been on building my other business as it pays the rent. I will get on it. I'll devote tomorrow, my off day, to Trigger. Thank you so much for asking. You've made my day <3

Thank you so much! You've made my day :-) I'm currently working on a work book (I'm a psychologist in my other life) and as that's almost done, I'll be getting back to my AJ Adams work in progress. I'm starting a new series with a super tough hero. I'm 45% along. Tentative finish date is January 2021.
Sorry to be a bit slow. The pandemic has caused havoc. For a while I was overwhelmed with suicidal people at work and it shattered my ability to write. But now we're getting a little less fraught, I'm back to writing again.
It's good to hear from someone in Spain! My family home is in Madrid but we've been to Barcelona often. Love the coast and wandering through Catalonia and down to Alicante. Terrific seafood! Miss my gambas and calamares.
Hope you are safe, the news from there is frightening.
Un fuerte abrazo, AJ

It's up! <3 And I've blogged, too. Deep in final edits, Cecile. I'll be back at the end of the week. Hugs, Ellen

If you can stand it, I thought I'd one every 10 days or so. Or maybe one a week? What do you think?

Funny you should say that. Remember Jorge, Arturo's cousin who's running the London branch of the Zetas? He just kidnapped a girl :-)

Oh yes! Remember Crush and his 'little problem?' It will all come out soon. But the next book will be a Zeta Cartel story :-)

Hi Cécile, Thanks for the encouragement <3 I'm writing a romance as Ellen Whyte at the moment and when that's done, I think it's time for the Belials to have another romance. Mind you, I have a thought about Jorge in London, too. So we may get another Zeta.
I shall keep you posted!

Awesome! I'm finishing a sweet romance as Ellen Whyte. Almost done. On my last chapter.
And then, new covers for Prydain. I shall on the email, asking for your input!

I don't understand it, either. You'd think global market would mean - a global market.
From a money angle, it makes no sense at all. We non-Americans pay 30% super tax to the US government if we don't live in a country with reciprocal tax systems, so essentially, Smashwords are throwing away all those super tax payers like me who live in Asia, Africa etc.
I want to publish worldwide, but frankly, retailers like B&N won't work with authors unless they have a US bank account, Apple won't work directly with us at all, and trying to work directly with Kobo a few years ago was a disaster as I never got paid.
I'm trying Pronoun and find them nice people, but they don't seem to have any reach. I've only made $30 or so from them this year - and that's just so little, it's not worth doing.
The thought of having just Amazon is not my wish, but at least they stick to their agreements and pay.
It's a blow, but I'll have to suck it up. As for you, Cecile, you've been so kind to me all these years that I'm sending you Dark Hunter! Will pm you...

I'd go to Prydain, of course! But only after taking a course in self defense, seeing it's so lethal there. I would set up as a scribe and story teller. That would let me travel about, be useful and do what I enjoy most. I'd start at Brighthelme and then travel up north to Haven and make my way to Skraeling's Point. Because hunky Beasts sound awesome :-)

I'd love to meet a Beast or two... :-D
