I have a new book I'm working on and the title is Hank's Whiskey. The idea came from a writing prompt I saw in an online writing group. It had to do with borders and walls. That was one part. The second part is a friend of mine lives in a wooded area, close to the ocean, on the Pacific coast. She has vision problems and just recently is living on her own, in this secluded area. So, being the good friend I am, I joked that she was living in a horror movie!
Those two ideas reminded me of a story from Poe, another from Faulkner, and a movie from Hitchcock. All that came together for this story. Now thats all I have to say about that book, for now. It is due to be published in March of 2018. Thank you for reading this.
