Sadly, my day job sucks the life out of me. But, I've put time into Survival Chronicles 5. I've been thinking about an origins story for my character Lucia. As well as some short stories in my dystopian ratcatcher series.

While scouring the net for an agent for a previous project(didn't find one) I came across someone who was looking to represent Steampunk novels. I like the steampunk Genre and the foundations on which it is built, so I decided to jump in and give it a shot.
The book was a blast to write, and so far my readers have told me it is a fun and exciting story.
Smoke and Lightning is ironically the only book that I've written that currently isn't available for sale. Originally it was supposed to be a historical(Set late 1800s after Napoleon conquered the English Empire) alternate-earth fantasy(magic) novel. Which is overly complicated. So I pulled it back to revise it and go straight steampunk fantasy.

I generally have more ideas than I have time. But when I do get stuck with a particular point, I set it aside and work on another part of the story. I also enjoy taking walks to help me grind out story details.
