What started your train of thought leading to the idea for a series about brides?
Catherine Bybee Sorry it has taken me so long to answer this, I didn't realize this was on Goodreads.

This is a long answer. But the bottom line is I wanted to write a contemporary romance using a historical trope. Duke needs a bride etc.
Only I wanted ther heroine to be in charge. *grin*

I am getting ready to read the Maccoinnich series but my library has Binding Vows and Silent Vows on back order. I have Redeeming Vows and the Highland books, my question is, are these stand alone books or are they a continuous storyline?

Yes, the books do stand alone, but they are better if you read them all in order. That is what all my fans tell me.

What's next? I've read all of Not Quite Dating and the Weekday Brides and MacCoinnich Time Travels. Soooo, what are you working on and how soon will it be out?

Doing it Over is the first book in a new series that releases in April 2016 - I will continue with Not Quite Books... Mary and Glen are in process right now, and a spin off to the Brides. So I'm super busy.

Hi, I know that Not Quite Forever just came out, but are you planning to write about Glen and Jason? I think the Fairchild brother should have their own happy ending.
Catherine Bybee I do plan on writing Glen and Jason's books in the future. I have a couple before them in the works, however. Thanks for reading.

I feel like I'm dying and totally incomplete without Cian's story. PLEASE tell me (and others I know that are wondering) it's coming out soon? (Please, with a cherry on top… I'll even bribe with coffee or other treats :) )

I just started Taken by Tuesday but have not read the other books in the series yet. Do they build off each other or should I stop and read them in order, or does order not really matter?
Catherine Bybee They don't build on each other. You can read every bride book as a stand alone but keep in mind you will 'see' other characters from previous books. Many will read my current book, then go back and catch up if they enjoy it.

After the fifth book will you still write about them, their circle, i mean continue it or you'll have to make a new series with a crossover with the character in weekday bride? Totally love the first 2 books.
Catherine Bybee There will be seven books total for the Bride Series. I might toss in a few Holiday Brides from time to time... I do want to star working on a new list of characters at some point.

Catherine Bybee Hi Jane,
I love the marriage of convenience theme. I grew up on historical romances with Dukes entering loveless marriages only to find themselves snared. I wanted to create a contemporary romance with the very same theme... As the series continues, many of my life influences become part of the story.
