Lisa Rusczyk Hazard I'd live in Watership Down as a rabbit in the group (one who makes it!) that travels the land to find a home, and then I'd be one of the bunnies who brought the dog to the down at the end.
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard I have one from my dad's cousin, Darke House - A Dreamtime Novel by Pat Kelbaugh, that I can't wait to start. There's a cat on the cover! It's about ghosts.

Also, I'm going to try my best to get through the entire Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. I have a hard time reading comics--yeah, I know, it's weird, but I get confused--but love their movies and the physical books themselves. It's so frustrating to know there's this epic reading adventure in this book I'm holding that I can't follow! Going to learn that new skill.

Have a friend who is writing a book and I'll read hers when she's done.

Other than that, I don't have too many reading plans. I will be writing. :)
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard I wanted a Cajun sea monster for a sea horror I wanted to write for Severed Press, and while researching the Gulf of Mexico and sea monster legends, I found the lusca. The pictures on google images were great. The cover artist for the book did an outstanding job making the Lusca in this book look better than any I'd seen on the web. It was that creature, and some enhancements my husband and I came up with for her, that got me psyched. Writing about monsters in incredibly fun.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I haven't used Goodreads much, and just found this question! Thanks!
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard I talk to my husband about it sometimes for ideas, other times I just pretend it isn't there and block out that I have a block until I finally sit down and do some writing.
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard Writing. That was just going to be my answer, but Goodreads said it was too short. I also spend more time daydreaming about what I'm writing than I do actually writing.
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard Always have fun. If you're not enjoying writing something, then there's a good chance your readers won't have fun reading it. Don't ever beat yourself up because you hate what you wrote the night before. You have absolute power and control to change everything and anything! Oh, The Power! ;)

Your technique and voice will develop the more you write, and the more you go back over your stories and edit them. Try out different processes to see how you work best. Experiment! Practice making your stories as consistent throughout as possible.

And to be extremely repetitive, HaVe FuN!
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard I have a few things in the works. I've been ghost writing for a few years, and now I'm ready to get back to writing my own fiction again. I'll be finishing up old half-done projects.
Lisa Rusczyk Hazard If an idea gets me excited, then it's all I can think about doing.
