Hey Michael! Firstly, thanks for the support and for trying to order them in the first place. Unfortunately, I think it's a timing issue: Hodder have literally just handed back the rights, which means that we'll be publishing them with Kingsbrook just as soon as we've got through the Illmoor series. If you follow my author page on here for updates, I'll let you know the second we have the engine moving on them. The first Kingsbrook book (Shadow of the Shapeshifter) is out in February and after that it's going to be quite an active year for the back catalogue. Apologies for the difficulty with this: it's been a complicated business, as Hodder published in the UK and Penguin in the USA. We're literally just getting on top of things now!

Oddly, it was from watching two guinea pigs chase each other around a pen...

I was encouraged at a young age by brilliant advice from both Terry Pratchett and Tom Holt. Also, I'd never read a book until I discovered the Fighting Fantasy adventures of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, so they deserve a mention, too!

I usually go to a coffee shop and wait for the inspiration to come back. Occasionally, I wait days, weeks or even years for this to happen.

I once leaped between the rooftops of two buildings, believing it to be well within my capabilities. It wasn't.
Note - interestingly, my autistic edge jumped in there and corrected the above to:

As a child, Clive Barker's Holiday House from Thief of Always because it's the place where dreams come true (albeit dark ones) and Terry Pratchett's Discworld as an adult (because I'd love to live in Lancre with Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg).

Lots of re-reads and some new ones. I'm currently on Normal People by Sally Rooney and am looking forward to Moonflower Murders by Anthony Horowitz.

A few years ago, I became a Master Freemason and the whole glorious adventure - from the initiation ceremony to the final ritual - was something that could definitely be the plot for one of my books. It was a fantastic experience.
