Thank you for your positivity! I have been reflecting on the elements fire, earth air and water. My latest books have come out of these reflections, along with my wish to write stories connecting children with their own confidence, power and nature's magic.

I recently read The House With Chicken Legs by Sophie Anderson. I'd love to go there and visit Baba's house, eating delicious foods and hearing the stories of all who come there.

I'd like to see the Shire and hang out in the Hobbit hole - so journeying to the Lord of the Rings world (post- Sauron) would be a top pick. I'd like to hang out in some of the gardens and read, see the sights, including the town Bree. Though of course the elves would be gone by then. Perhaps I could visit the Shire AND Rivendell far before Sauron searches for the ring, when all is still peaceful.

Ooo! Interesting question, thanks for asking. Hmm ... I kind of wish I had a more mysterious life ... or do I? Perhaps I only think there aren't mysteries ... of course there are the existential mysteries. Will I ever be able to sell enough books to write full time is a big one to me. Perhaps the plot could focus on an author trying to work out the best use of her time ...

2019 has seen the publication of The Ice Giant, for children 8+, and Element Girls: The Lost Goddess for 11+. I am working on promoting those books, getting the word out to children and also receiving feedback on the stories from children. In the meantime I'm writing Element Girls 2! Watch this space ...

I've never had writer's block. (Yet). I tend to have the opposite problem; writer's overflow.
