Hi Anna: I apologize for the slow delay. Had a major surgery and just getting back up to speed. Thank you so much for letting me know that you loved Wicked Moon. I know you'll be as equally thrilled with The Apparition and Uncharted Depths.
Illusive Memories will be my next novel. However, I've found through the writing process that mentoring and paying it forward is just as important as the next novel. I have two people I'm mentoring now and I want to see their books hit the shelves before I move back to Illusive Memories.
Thanks again for the lovely note!!! Enjoy the journey! Hugs, Taylor

Oh I could hug you for asking that question!! There is an old mansion on Cape Cod Bay that was dilapidated for years and a foundation was formed to restore it. When I stood in front of the mansion for the first time (you can see pictures on my website www.taylornash.com) I knew I wanted to be part of the journey to help restore her. Plus, it was like the house spoke to me and told me a story immediately, so it was very easy to come up with a plot that is a contemporary romantic suspense with a paranormal flair. I am donating all profits of Wicked Moon back to the Simes House Foundation to help finish the inside restoration. Thanks for asking!

I'm inspired 24/7 and that's the problem with being a writer—sometimes it's hard to turn it off. I would prefer to write any day over doing the business end of writing but you have to attend to both. When I travel I watch people and write down things they do and then in my mind I make up a story about them and the first thing you know, I could have another plot for a novel.

I just finished my third novel, Wicked Moon, where the setting is a real mansion that is being restored in Cape Cod. You can visit my website taylornash.com and read all about it. I'm donating all profits from Wicked Moon back to the Foundation to help in the restoration process. I have another novel, Illusive Memories, that I will start working on, but want to give Wicked Moon as much personal attention and promotion that I can.

Never EVER give up on your dream!!!! If you are passionate about writing and enjoy the journey, follow that dream. I didn't take my writing seriously until I was in my late 50's (yes, I'm old!), and now I have three novels published, cookbook, and working on another. Plus, I have found I love helping new authors almost as much as writing, so that's a new venture. I'm not going to say it's an easy road, but anything that you are passionate about can and will happen if you pursue it. Good luck and if I can ever help, my e-mail is taylor@taylornash.com. Love to pay it forward!!

Being able to release all these thoughts and ideas and come up with a tangible product that entertains my readers. It's kind of like knitting, cooking - you start with nothing and when your done, your creativity shines through.

Great question and it happens sometimes. I skip the chapter I'm working on and go on to another section. Sometimes if the flow isn't working the way you want you just have to come back to it.
