Hi, Lynn, thanks for the question. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the Marjorie books. She's a favorite of mine, too. I loved writing those books. Unfortunately, the publisher sold, and there's been no interest in the series. It's difficult to find another publisher for a three book series. I won't say that there will never be another Marjorie book. If the opportunity arises, I will gladly write another book. But for the foreseeable future, I don't have any plans to write anymore Marjorie stories...

Hi Lyn, Thanks for writing about Marjorie. I love writing her story. This might be a little bit of inside baseball, but my original publisher sold recently and the new owner has no plans to continue the series. My team and myself are continuing to look for a new home for the Marjorie books. There are a lot of publishing options these days, so I hope there will be a new Marjorie book in the future. I post news on my web site (larrydsweazy.com), and there's a newsletter sign up there up you're interested. If anything positive happens, I'll post there first, so thanks again for liking Marjorie, and please know that I'm working on it...

Thanks for writing, Will. Sorry you found the novel to be too short. What a great complement. I originally intended CROWS to be a stand-alone novel, but I've been thinking about another Sonny Burton story since I finished writing it. I don't have anything concrete yet, but when and if I do, I will post something here. I liked spending time with Sonny and Blue, too. Thanks again and keep reading. Best, Larry

My most recent book, A THOUSAND FALLING CROWS, publishes in January, 2106. I was doing research and stumbled across some information about Bonnie and Clyde being involved in a car accident that severely damaged Bonnie's leg. That became the starting point of the story with an encounter with a Texas Ranger at the end of his career.

Read a lot, write a lot. It sounds simple, but it's not.

I get to exercise my imagination and tell stories. It's all I've ever wanted to do.

Keep writing. You can't edit a blank piece of paper. I don't believe in writer's block.

Hi Nancy, The second Marjorie Trumaine Mystery, SEE ALSO DECEPTION, will be available in May, 2016. There will be at least three books in the series, and you can expect another Marjorie novel in May, 2017. Thanks so much for the question, and I'm happy to know that you enjoyed SEE ALSO MURDER. Best, Larry
