I blended some scary on-the-job moments with a couple of real life headlines and came up with a fictional reason for a murder. I try to approach murders as if I am the killer and ask myself, "how can I get away with it?" Though I don't play chess, I think it's akin to playing against yourself. I get to commit the perfect crime, as well as solve it.
