Thank you, Lillian, for reading my books!
This type of storytelling, according to my son, the linguistics major, is called pants. The author writes the story as though it is a pair of pants for the reader to put on. I had never heard of it before, but wanted to try it and from that came Seed Money. At the time, I had no idea I was starting a series, but the writing process was so easy, I tried it again...and again...and again...and now, with book five, again.

I haven't yet experienced writer's block—though I'm sure I will one day. Once I map out a story line in my head, my problem is too many ideas bombarding me at the same time. I sleep very little during the writing process—which thankfully is very short—often getting up several times in the night to jot down ideas. I usually give up the fight around 4 AM and head to a computer, where I will stay until 10 PM or so. It makes for some very long days.

Just jump in and do it. Don't wait for permission or for the time to be right. It may never be.

After a successful career in nonfiction, Seed Money: The Entrepreneur was my first fiction. I've just finished Glyphs: The Scribe and just started a new book, tentatively titled, Zeus: The Oracle.

I think reading leads to writing. I was born an avid reader and devour books. Reading what other people have created makes me want to share my experiences as well.

I hiked the Andes for two weeks a couple of years ago and it was life changing. I wanted to tell the story of the people there in a way that reflects the impact they had on me.
