Deidra D.S. Green Great question! Hard question! Right now my favorite fictional couple are Elon and Justice feom My Guy Friday. They have an endearing love that has been tested but proven to be true.
Deidra D.S. Green Frequently, I write what I like to read. I love a good murder mystery with twists and turns and complex characters who have flaws they make their lives more interesting. That's where the idea for this book came from.
Deidra D.S. Green I wake up inspired! I love to write early mornings, 4:30, 5:00 a.m. and meet the characters who have been creating nocturnal disturbances the evening before. I love to write and I believe in the stories I create. I hope that my readership continues to grow and more people discover the characters that wake me up in the middle of the night.
Deidra D.S. Green Okay, so I just released My Guy Friday January 1, 2017. Next up I'm considering releasing "They Call Me Ms. Cleo" (AA erotica) for Valentine's Day.
"Hush", (murder mystery/suspense) the second installment in the Chloe Daniels Mysteries is in editing and I am currently working on part 3, Mischief's Mayhem. Working on a collaboration with S. N. Norris, "Prowl" (drama/suspense) to be released late spring early summer. Currently working on "Red Light Special" (AA Erotica) late summer, early fall release. Also working on "Her Alabaster Box", "Dark", and "Snatched".
Deidra D.S. Green Write everyday, even if it's just 10, 15 minutes. The more you do it, the better you become. Read as much if not more than you write.
Deidra D.S. Green This is an easy one! Freedom of expression, the ability to create something from nothing, allowing my creative energies an outlet.
Deidra D.S. Green I typically work on more than one manuscript at a time. When the characters in one story no longer want to talk to me or share their secrets, I move on to something else. I try to acknowledge a "block" as it is referred to because I think in a lot of ways it's self imposed. Keep writing and the "block" will pass.
