Neale Osborne It was so nice to receive such a heartening and complimentary message, thank you, Ella - although, judging by your obvious enthusiasm (and achievements thus far), I’m sure you would have been inspired to write one way or another!
Here’s to your continued success,
Warmest wishes, Neale Osborne.
Neale Osborne There is a sequel to ‘Tin Lid Drum’ called ‘Lydia’s Golden Drum’ in which Lydia and Elixa (and a few other new characters) travel to the Spyssi Lands in search of the Jampyr sorceress Kafeena.
Without spoiling the ending of that book (which hints at the future lives of some of the characters), there is a line, right at the beginning which says: “For Lydia, all would soon be settled … she was going to live in Karamesh to become a gourmet toffee chef.” It’s the place she’d always dreamed of going to (cooking and eating toffee there all day!) and so I hoped she might find peace in Mixakoko, and live ‘happily supper afters’.
