Mario A. Vasquez She heard a faint scratching at her bedroom door as she drifted off to sleep. But she noticed scratching from under her bed when she opened her eyes.

Now don't judge me too much on this...I write non-fiction...not horror.
Mario A. Vasquez I move to a different book. That is one of the benefits of working on multiple books simultaneously. You can also do additional research on the chapter subject you are working on that is causing writer's block.
Mario A. Vasquez It is sharing my thoughts, ideas and knowledge about different topics that could help others. Also, the great feeling of accomplishment when your first book gets published and again when you get your first sale. It is fantastic!
Mario A. Vasquez Like the Nike slogan, Just Do It. Take a topic you are passionate about and start writing. You can start with ideas, create a structure (book outline), and start writing your book's chapters or sections. You will be surprised how much you keep writing without stopping.
Mario A. Vasquez I am working on a lot right now. Here is a list, all of which you can expect to see published at some point in 2023:
- Travel guide for Guatemala
- Teaching kids about money
- Skills and habits for new managers
- Two different kids' books that I am writing with my daughters (ages 6 and 7)
- I have three other book titles that haven't moved past that stage
Mario A. Vasquez Random thoughts pop into my head, and I write them down then. I then brainstormed possible book titles for that subject, followed by a book outline. Every book I write is something I am passionate about.
Mario A. Vasquez I just started my publishing business in Jan 2023. I wanted to write a short book so I could go through all the steps necessary from coming up with an idea to having it published. I loved running when I was younger but hadn't been a runner for around 10 years by the time I turned 40. At that time, I decided to start running again. I thought this topic would be good for others who decided to run again after a long time of not running or for those who were never a runner. It is a topic I have a lot of knowledge about and didn't require a lot of research before writing.
