If you want to write then give it a go! Lioten to your heart - not what other people tell you. All too often there will be someone who thinks they know better than you do. Try writing a few chapters. Before you klnow it, you'll be well into that story which is begging to be told. Be true to yourself and never give up.

I'm about 60% into my next book and I am still unsure of what its genre will finally be! It's verging between psychological thriller/horror/paranormal. I think this is part of the beauty of writing...the storyline, characters and setting control where the writer goes. Surprising twists and turns or sudden shock events can often lead onto another path.

Being able to express myself in words, and sharing with readers who enjoy a good story...whether it is a psychological thriller, murder mystery or edgy women's fiction with a touch of romance. I love being my own boss too, doing what I enjoy best and in my own time...I feel very priveledged.

Hi Michael- for some strange reason I've only just seen this question on my profile! Anyway, thanks for asking. The biggest thrill is when I've seen people at airports or on trains reading one of my novels! I think I always will get a kick out of this too! A wonderful feeling and I've loved asking them if they'd like me to autograph their book
