Bob Drews Why my mother picked July 2 instead of July 1 for my birthday.
Bob Drews I believe I'd spend time beside Robinson Crusoe to see if I were able to live by my own wits and instincts of survival.
Bob Drews After reading novels, biographies, autobiographies, and political chest thumpers for many years, I believe I will start re-reading some of those books I waded through in high school and college for grades but not for enjoyment and insight. So my list for the spring, summer, fall, and winter includes Moby-Dick (may take me a while) and the writings of Arthur Conan Doyle and Jules Verne.

Bob Drews My most imaginative ideas come (1) during attending Mass in-person or now virtually attending Bible-based services (2) lying in bed when I invariably awake around 3 a.m. (3) sitting on city buses (4) observing people and places while traveling by car or airplane.
Bob Drews I am still hunting for a publisher/agent for my two latest novels. The first was inspired by the random idea of two friends taking parallel road trips and how the different experiences changed them. The second was inspired by my mom's passing and her love of Bingo.
