As I offered trainings and walked alongside parents struggling with challenging behaviors in their kids, I heard over and over again that my personal story gave people hope. I realized I could only tell that story to so many people face-to-face, so I knew I had to write it down. Janet Mock says telling our stories is a revolutionary act.
