Jon Oregon Summer is hot here. I want Sci-Fi - Ihave Peter F Hamiltons "Salvation" trilogy up for reads... also I want to hit Dylan Thomas hard, his words amaze me, his momentum is staggering.
Jon Oregon When it writer's block appears I write jibberish, anything, and I type VERY FAST, getting into that zen free mode of creation. Speed is the key, the words mean nothing, the words make no sense, there is no grammar or rule, however it is the action of writing that needs to remain without thinking. tomorrow you will think, today you write.
Jon Oregon Hard to say - ideas come late at night/early morning. I scribble these wisps down, and of they keep pestering me, then I move them forward. I daydream or nightdream. If they stay with me and remain strong they will grow..
Jon Oregon I'm waiting for a developmental edit back from my editor for a Sci-Fi action book. I've completed a rough draft of a supernatural thriller, which needs a typo /developmental edit - its 34000 words. I also have three short stories that are at first stage and need edits.... next a short story or maybe another kids story "Bonzo the Boredom Basherette"
Jon Oregon Write. Write. Write. Never stop, never listen, never give-up - your words are like passing seconds as sand falls through your fingers. Ass on seat and write. You are a writer. There is no try, or thought. Just Write.
Jon Oregon The power to create.

A single pine tree.

What do I do with it?

Describe it with my sadness? Set it alight? Make it fly through the air? Make it speak? let it grow? Is it a symbol? It breathes through night and day.

That is the power... to make stuff up
